Jim Fogarty & Sons Water Well Drilling provides clients all over Kilkenny, Kildare, Carlow, Wexford, Tipperary and Waterford with professional geothermal drilling.
Jim Fogarty & Sons Water Well Drilling specialises in geothermal drilling.
Geothermal drilling involves drilling a borehole to extract the natural heat stored in the ground. The depth of this hole can vary from 70 metres to 150 metres.
Geothermal heat pumps are then installed and these pumps can be used to heat and cool buildings. This type of heating system can save up to 70% on a property's energy bills, and is an environmentally responsible home heating solution.
We have drilled Vertical Geothermal Boreholes for both domestic properties and commercial projects. We have worked alongside some of Ireland's best heat pump installers, ensuring that a clients property is fitted with the most efficient system possible. Vertical wells are energy efficient and effective where space is limited. Our drill rig does a vertical loop system. It does bore downwards 100m minimum with a continuous pipe that begins at the house, goes to the bottom of the bore and back up to the house.
Here in Jim Fogerty & Sons we understand when ground conditions are favorable for GEO Thermal Drilling!
Geothermal wells are best best suited for large buildings such as Nursing homes, Hotels, Hospitals and Large Commercial buildings.
